Rosamaria is a bilingual entrepreneurial operations and business development executive with a focus on emerging industries. She is a passionate Cuban-American with unique knowledge in establishing and running private business operations in Cuba. Rosamaria is a co-founder and advisor to Mandao, established in 2019, it is the first of its kind home delivery service in Cuba, specializing in restaurant, grocery and package delivery. Mandao operates in Havana, Holguin, Matanzas province, Santa Clara, Cienfuegos and Trinidad, and in 2021 became one of the first PYMEs (LLCs) to be approved in Cuba. Previously, Rosamaria worked for Carnival Corporation becoming an in-house expert on Cuba operations and designing the overall Cuba experience as well as managing relationships with on-ground partners in Cuba helping to launch cruise operations for Fathom, Carnival Cruise Line, Holland America and Seabourn. Prior to her involvement in Cuba-related ventures, Rosamaria was a serial entrepreneur launching and building multiple companies over 20 years. She has extensive and diverse experience spanning a number of industries from web development to Spanish language television and e-commerce in the natural and organic products industry as well as sustainability consulting. Rosamaria holds a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA in Political Science and Economics from Wellesley College. Rosamaria splits her time between Miami and NYC.
