Pedro Menocal is an equity partner at PAG LAW, a Miami-based law firm recognized as a leader in the venture capital space in Florida and throughout Latin America. With over two decades of experience, Pedro has built a reputation as a trusted legal and business advisor, helping entrepreneurs, investors, and companies navigate complex legal landscapes and turn innovative ideas into successful ventures. Pedro specializes in corporate/M&A, venture capital, private equity, software and technology, media and entertainment, real estate, and healthcare. He has advised clients in closing billions of dollars in financing and strategic transactions across the U.S., Latin America, and Europe. His approach emphasizes creating sound legal structures and strategic relationships that facilitate scalability, growth, and long-term success for startups and emerging businesses. From inception to exit, Pedro’s practical expertise ensures that his clients’ interests are protected while fostering innovation. In addition to his work at PAG LAW, Pedro is the Co-Founder of MIAMIGO Title, an attorney-owned title company leveraging technology to streamline real estate transactions. He is also an entrepreneur and investor, with ventures in software, fintech, mental health and wellness, mezcal and agave products, and real estate. Among these, he is a partner in the mezcal brand Indecente (www.viejoindecente.com) and is developing Agave Amigo (www.agaveamigo.com), an app designed to connect enthusiasts and producers of agave spirits globally. Pedro’s contributions extend beyond the boardroom. He is General Counsel at Humantelligence, a venture-backed HR-tech company, and serves as a board member and past president of The Rhythm Foundation, a Miami Beach-based nonprofit and one of the foremost presenters of live music in South Florida. Additionally, he is a board member of FilmGate Miami, a nonprofit empowering actors, writers, and independent filmmakers with a focus on interactive media and technology.
