Mary Patrícia Wilkie Ebrahimi is a board member of several QuarkCity India Private Ltd. companies. Her family has been involved in software development, real estate development, construction and related manufacturing in Northern India since 1997. Quark Benevolent emphasizes scholarship grants for girls and young women to encourage their education. Mrs. Ebrahimi serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery, the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Asian Art. She and her husband collect Persian manuscripts and Iranian art. Since 2015 she has spent part of each year in Cuba to produce documentaries on Cuban architecture and history. “Viva El Vedado” was released in late 2018 and the five-part series “Colonial Cuba”, covering the colonial architecture and history of the first seven towns founded by Diego Velázquez, will be released in 2022. Mrs. Ebrahimi was born in Havana and received a B.A. from Hollins University and an M.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles.
