Guennady is the founder and host of 23yFlagler, a multimedia platform launched in 2020 for political news, analysis, and commentary, with a frequent focus on U.S.–Cuba relations and Cuba’s private sector. From 2015 to 2017, he organized academic and business exchange programs between Cuban and American professionals. He became active in U.S.–Cuba issues after moving to the United States in 2013. Guennady graduated from the University of Havana School of Law in 2005. He later served as an instructor and consultant for the Cuba Emprende Program, a business incubator supporting Cuba’s emerging private sector, hosted by the Félix Varela Cultural Center of the Archdiocese of Havana with support from the U.S.-based Cuba Emprende Foundation.
