Rosamaria is the Executive Director of the Cuba Emprende Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports the largest and most impactful entrepreneurial training program in Cuba. Serving in this leadership role since 2022, she brings deep expertise in emerging markets, private sector development, and hands-on business operations in Cuba, having been actively involved with the island’s growing entrepreneurial community since 2016. In addition to her work with the Foundation, Rosamaria is a bilingual business development executive and serves as an advisor to Mandao, a premier food delivery and package logistics provider across Cuba. Previously, she worked for Carnival Corporation as an in-house expert on Cuba operations, designing the overall Cuba travel experience and managing on-ground relationships to launch operations for Fathom, Carnival Cruise Line, Holland America, and Seabourn. Prior to her focus on Cuba-related initiatives, Rosamaria spent over 20 years as a serial entrepreneur, launching and building multiple successful companies. Her diverse background spans web development, Spanish-language television, e-commerce in the natural and organic products industry, and sustainability consulting. Rosamaria holds a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA in Political Science and Economics from Wellesley College. She splits her time between Miami and New York City.
